A bustling boudoir brimming with brides

For the last couple of weeks, here at Just Bespoke HQ we have been busy preparing for a unique type of wedding showcase, The Wedding Sanctuary which was created by members of the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners like ourselves to offer top design inspiration, personal style advice and the best one on one planning support to British brides.

We were delighted to be asked to style the boudoir – an area dedicated to bridal style – from wedding gowns by the talented Sassi Holford, bespoke footwear from the lovely Emmy Shoes and hair and make-up advice from the team at Elle Au Naturel.

We wanted to bring together the styles of the two designers, creating a relaxed and fashionable boudoir with a vintage french romantic look and feel. Thankfully, Vintage Style Hire kindly supplied some of their fantastic vintage finds, from authentic leather trunks to beautiful upholstered arm chairs. Combined with gorgeous flowers from Amanda Austin in pale pink, cream, violet and peach, the room was transformed.

From the moment the doors to The Wedding Sanctuary opened at 11am, the boudoir was a hub of activity with brides taking the opportunity to get advice from the experts, try out hair styles for their big day and admire the items on display.

For us as wedding planners it was a great opportunity to meet some lovely brides from across the capital and hear about their wedding plans, as well as spending time with the boudoir exhibitors, hearing about their businesses and building relationships to benefit existing and future Just Bespoke brides.
